Get crafty at one of the many creative happenings which take place in the Park. You can watch artists at work, or develop your own skills in painting, weaving, ceramics, carpentry, wood-turning or photography.

Erwood Station Gallery

Showing the very best in contemporary craft, paintings and sculpture set within a station and 3 carriages! Erwood Station Gallery is in a well known beauty spot alongside the River Wye, ideal for walkers and bird watchers (there is a bird hide in the renovated signal box which is looked after by Radnorshire Wildlife Trust) and there is even an engine as well. We also have a tea room in the station. Opening from mid February- end of December. Opening times 10:30 - 4:30 every day except Tuesdays. Tea room closes at 4pm. Reduced opening days out of season, please check the website for up to date details.

Chapel Cottage Studio

A small family run art teaching facility set in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside. It is home to artist and tutor Jantien Powell who is well known locally for her rural paintings of the Welsh countryside and its characters. As well as an exhibition space, Chapel Cottage Studio holds a full and varied programme of Arts classes and workshops throughout the year ranging from 2 hour weekly classes and full day workshops up to 6 day intensive courses. There really is something for everyone, whether you like oil painting, watercolours, pastels, life drawing, sketching or printing there is a class for you.

Most full day workshops cost £45 and this includes unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits as well as a really special home made lunch. Classes are kept to a maximum of 12 students to ensure that everyone gets individual attention from the tutor. Whether you have never picked up a pencil in your life or you have been painting for 20 years, there will be a class to suit you.

Lion Street Gallery

Recently rated as one of the best galleries in Wales by the Culture Trip website, The Lion Street Gallery mainly promotes artists who work in Wales and the Borders. There are regular shows throughout the year, showcasing both established Welsh artists, as well as up and coming young talent. Art loving dogs are very much welcome. Open Monday - Saturday 10.30 - 5.00

The Old Printing Office

The Old Printing Office is a family run business in the heart of the beautiful market town of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire. The building dates back to the 1700s and housed one of the first printing presses in Wales, producing historic tomes such as Brutusiana. The surviving printing press machinery was donated to the National Museum of Wales and can be seen on display from time to time in St Fagans and other heritage centres.
