LLANGORSE (LLANGORS) AND BWLCH

Two rural villages offering an intimate experience of the best of rural Brecon Beacons.
The village of Llangorse on the shores of Llangorse Lake is at the core of this delightful locale with Bwlch 8 miles away acting as the gateway. These two villages, along with the many hamlets scattered around the lake have charm and character in abundance.

Things to see and do

Hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, pedalo, Stand up Paddle Board or fishing boat and go boating on Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales.

Cycle or walk along any one of the web of country lanes and paths which criss-cross the area.
Go for a wander down to Llangasty birdhide to watch the many waterbirds – a birdhide like no other.
