The Walnut Tree Inn

Michelin-starred restaurant located 3 miles north-east of Abergavenny town. A famous inn and restaurant since the early 60’s, offering proper dining and drinking in an informal setting. There are around 20 tables simply laid. The restaurant seats up to 70 diners and opens Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner.
The food is an eclectic mix based on Shaun Hills personal taste, paired with sound cooking techniques, rather than a particular country’s cuisine. A Unifying feature is the core of excellent ingredients.
If you are looking for accommodation, there are also two cottages (Ivy Cottage and Old Post Office Cottage) a short walk from the restaurant and a third cottage (Pont Gilbert) a short drive away . All have terraces outside, and gardens. The kitchens are well stocked with snacks and breakfast.
