Creative Photography Experience

Creative Photography Experience is owned by Nigel Forster, based at Talybont on Usk in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. We run photography courses and workshops throughout the UK and beyond.

About Nigel: He is one of Wales’s foremost outdoor photographers, specialising in landscape and architectural photography. He is also a Master Photographer with the Photographer Academy, producing training video’s on location and on-line Webinars. Nigel also writes regularly for the photographic press.

What you’ll learn: Nigel’s speciality is the use of simple composition and natural light to create striking images. His courses and workshops reflect this, taking you through the imaging process from concept,  location and post-production. You’ll learn his approach and it will transform your landscape photography!

Your choice: A great range of One to One Courses from a Half Day to several days for photographers from beginner to advanced level. Group Workshops are for up to 6 clients and range from Evening / Night Workshops, Day Workshops, Weekends and short breaks of up to a week.

Where we go: Many Day Courses and Workshops (from One to Three Days) are based in the Brecon Beacons. We also visit other great locations. The majestic landscapes of Snowdonia, Isle of Skye and the West of Scotland, Dorset, Gower, Northumberland Coast, Northern Ireland and Abruzzo in Italy.
