Staying at Tall John’s House
Our beautiful Georgian Manor house is set in a secluded valley.
Please feel free to explore our charming walled garden and rolling green lawns or perhaps allow yourself to relax under the dappled shade of the ancient lime tree while you submerge yourself in the total tranquillity that Tall John’s House can offer. Here you can enjoy the peace of the countryside and the beautiful night skies as there is no noise or light pollution. The perfect place for a romantic getaway or a comfortable spot of relaxation.
Our three Manor bedrooms are situated at the front of the manor house and have amazing views to the Black Mountains across the green and wooded valley. The rooms are elegant, light and spacious with large Georgian windows and all the character of the period.
Each has its own recently renovated, large and well-equipped en suite bathroom– one with a large walk-in power shower, one with a power shower over the bath and one with a bath tub and a separate walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms have super king beds that can be split to make twins and the third bedroom has a king size bed. All bedrooms are provided with plenty of large, fluffy towels, hair-dryers and a range of soaps, shampoos and shower gels. There is free Wi-Fi available.
There is a cosy sitting room with an open fire and Sky TV for our guests to enjoy. Tea, herb teas and coffee are always available in the Hall.
