Gwernyfed Walled Garden
Rescued from a derelict state by Joel, Charlane and their family.
Glasshouse & walled garden
Our gardens have evolved over 15 years, which started out as a school football pitch & derelict glasshouse.
Throughout the year we sell our own propagated plants & through the growing season we have produce from the garden available.
We harvest our own honey from hives situated throughout the garden, do listen out for our busy bees.
Specialising in growing heritage variety apples, which are available for sale from late August onwards, different varieties being available at their differing ripening times.
Our Seasonal menus of light lunches and light bites are all made from the vegetables from our garden. If we run out, we may be seen dashing to the veg plots to collect extras.
A great range of delicious cakes all made fresh .
We serve loose leaf tea and fresh ground coffee.
Delightful mis matched china plates, china cups & tea pots mean we just want you to enjoy the feeling that freshly prepared food gives you without us being stuffy. We are about relaxing and enjoying what we have provided for us. We want to take you away from the normal and get back to the simple enjoyments of food & drinks.
Join us in our glass house or at various tables located throughout the garden for that little piece of calm.
Take yourself away from the busy outside world and enjoy the hum of the bees whilst eating the fruits of their pollination work. A firm favourite with out locals and visitors alike, you may be followed around by our Indian Runner Ducks. They all add to the experience. And also provide eggs for our bakes.
