The Smallholding and Countryside Festival – in May
The Smallholding & Countryside Festival is a celebration of rural life with smallholding pursuits at its heart. The weekend-long event is a showcase of the real diversity of the Welsh countryside and a fantastic day out for young families, garden enthusiasts and anyone with an interest in the great outdoors.
With a full packed programme of livestock and equine competitions, over 200 tradestands, displays and activities, excellent food and drink – there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Royal Welsh Show – the 3rd week in July
Along with an exciting four-days of livestock competitions, with entries travelling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.
The Winter Fair – end of November
As one of the finest prime stock shows in Europe, the Royal Welsh Winter Fair draws crowds from far and wide to enjoy two-days packed full of competitions, festivities and Christmas shopping.
