With our Sheepdog Herding Experience, you’ll watch our expert trainer demonstrating herding sheep with his highly trained sheepdogs, then you get to have a go!
This is real-life sheep herding on a Welsh hill farm in Cwmdu, near Crickhowell. The bonus is that Ross, your friendly and talented sheepdog trainer, is not only a local shepherd, but he also competes at Sheepdog Trials nationally and internationally representing Wales.
As with all Good Day Out experiences, you can either book in a small group session (with a maximum of 6 people) for £35 per person, or you can book a private session just for you from £150 for up to 5 people with add-on spaces possible. You will be in a field, so wellies are advised until the ground is drier, and full meeting point directions are sent on booking. The experience lasts between 60-90 minutes, depending on weather conditions on the day. Please enquire for other dates within those months for private sessions as they can sometimes be arranged.
Suitable especially for adults but quiet, children over 12 are welcome on group sessions. Younger children can attend private group sessions if they are interested.
