Our passionate outdoor pursuits instructors have decades of experience between them and we love to explore the woods, hills, crags and rivers of the UK just as much as we enjoy sharing our passion with others.
 
On the Rocks
Our South Wales rock climbing and abseiling adventure sessions take place at various sites in the national park and beyond. Whether it’s your first time on the rocks or you’re an experienced climber, we’ll find the right route for you from the thousands of climbs in the area. Our staff all hold a minimum of the Mountain Training UK Rock Climbing Instructor Award, so you can be assured of competent and qualified instruction.
 
Going Underground
Caving in South Wales is the perfect adventure for daring groups! The caves in South Wales are among the most extensive and spectacular in the UK, with squeezing challenges, watery challenges and incredible history and even animal life to discover. Our cave leaders are among the best around, and all hold the British Caving Association Local Cave Leader Award as a minimum.
 
Archery for Groups
Our archery sessions take place at various locations; as long as there’s sufficient space, we can bring our mobile range to you! Our instructors are enthusiastic and fully qualified through Archery GB, meaning you can rest assured of a safe, fun taster session.
 
Bushcraft and Survival Skills
Learn the fundamentals of survival in the great outdoors with one of our South Wales bushcraft taster sessions. You’ll have the opportunity to learn to make shelters by various methods, light fires and cook using traditional techniques make basic tools by carving. On full days we bring additional skills into your session. Our instructors are all experienced professionals, keen to help you develop your skills and get the most out of your session.
 
Navigation Training
Gain the freedom to explore more in the great outdoors on one of our navigation training courses. We run courses for beginners to map reading, as well as intermediate courses to improve your navigation skills. We have a schedule of courses running throughout the year, as well as offering bespoke courses for you or your group.
 
Activities for Groups
We can provide any of our activities for groups, including Scouts, Guides, school groups and colleges. We’re an AALA licensed provider, so you can be assured that we meet the stringent requirements for provision of adventurous activities in the outdoors.
 
Activities for Families
Many of our activities are the perfect way to share time and create lasting memories with loved ones. We know that your time away is precious and can be limited, so we’re here to help you make the most of every minute!
 
Outdoor Adventures Near to You
Our ‘outdoor office’ in the beautiful South Wales border region is an adventurer’s paradise with ancient forests, wild rivers, hidden caves and adrenaline fuelled cliff tops and valleys to explore. Our navigation courses take place in the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons National Park or in the beautiful Wye Valley. Adventurers from Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham can be here within an hour or so and there are amazing accommodation options for active visitors from London (2 hours) and beyond.
