The Arches at Baileys Barn

Self contained accommodation that sleeps up to 5 people,  with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your dog so you can enjoy a holiday altogether.
The Arches is part of Bailey’s Barn but has its own entrance, so guests have their own privacy and have their own key so can come and go as they like.
The property is called ‘The Arches’ as the bedrooms are located under the arches in the lower ground floor of Baileys Barn. There is one double bed and 2 single beds. We also have a pull-out single bed  so we are able to accommodate one family of 2 adults & 3 children. The Arches/Bedrooms are open plan to the living area which has 2 arched windows and 1 arched doorway. In the living area there is a leather reclining sofa and chair and chaise longue with Smart TV & Free Wifi. This area also contains a dining table and chairs and a small kitchen that includes an oven, 2 ringed hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities plus a sink and slimline dishwasher. There is a separate bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower. There is underfloor heating throughout and linen and towels are provided along with one hairdryer.
Also included in the price is Tea, Instant coffee, Milk.
Outside there is a patio area with a couple of sunbeds and a picnic table and there is also a wooden covered Gazebo, with rattan ‘L’ shaped sofa & dining table, so guests can sit inside or out, whatever the weather, as both areas have magnificent views over the countryside.
The Area
The Arches is located in a peaceful elevated position, a scenic 5 minute walk to the village of Talybont-on-Usk, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It has it’s own patio area to relax and simply enjoy the amazing surrounding scenery but is also fantastically located for the more active visitor as there are numerous walking trails and mountain biking routes right on the doorstep.
The village of Talybont-On-Usk has 2 pubs (The White Hart & The Star),  plus Talybont Stores which is a shop, café and post office.
We stock a wealth of information on the Brecon Beacons National Park and surrounding areas including maps, attraction and activity leaflets inc mountain biking routes and walking information. There is also a bike storage shed and a hose to wash down bikes for those who like to ride the routes such as The Gap and The Taff Trail. We stock 4 local walking leaflets to suit all abilities that are local to our village of  Talybont and also keep information about numerous other walks including the waterfall walks.
