Garden Cottage is a pretty detached, single story cottage situated in the lovely village of Talybont-on-Usk in the heart of the Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Talybont-on-Usk is the ideal location to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside. Situated between the small Cathedral city of Brecon and the delightful village of Crickhowell.
Garden Cottage is a one bedroom, self catering holiday cottage ideal for couples or single travellers. Located in the perfect location for a relaxing break or an action packed adventure.
Within two minutes walking distance of two pubs and the village store and café. Walks for all abilities from the doorstep. Close proximity to waterfalls, reservoir, mountains, steam railway, Brecon Cathedral, museums, mountain biking, kayaking, eateries, Brecon Theatre and much more.
There is on-site parking for a car and a path leads through the garden to the cottage. There are four steps up to the front door and patio area with a table and seating. A small hall leads to an open plan living space with a comfy sofa and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The log burner will keep you cosy on those chilly evenings. Infra red heaters throughout.
The cottage has an airy bedroom that sleeps two, with an ensuite shower and toilet. There is a choice of a super king bed or two single beds. The bedroom leads out to a small patio area next to a trickling stream. It’s the perfect sun-trap on a sunny day.
Whether your desire is to stroll along the canal chatting with the boaters and stopping for a drink in the pubs or café or you wish to run the hills and climb the mountains, we are so lucky to have it all here in the beautiful Brecon Beacons/Bannau Brycheiniog.
