All sorts of places can be reached without having to get in the car. You can probably walk to many of them from where you are staying anyway. Or, if you have brought your bikes, you will have an even wider range of choices. You can hire bikes here - many places will deliver to your accommodation. And if you fancy going walking, remember that you can see far more if you don't have to walk back to the beginning - head over the hills or amble along the canal and then get the bus back. No problems about stopping for a drink either!

Beacons Bus
Beacons Bus is there to take you into and around the National Park on summer Sundays and Bank Holidays. It is especially designed for visitors and can take you to many of the area’s attractions. The Cardiff service even tows a bike trailer to Brecon and then plies between there and Abergavenny all day.
