Upper Usk

Sennybridge, Trecastle, Crai and Defynnog are all set in wonderfully peaceful countryside.

There are pubs and hotels, antique shops and an art gallery, teashops and village shops.

The font in the 15th Century church at Defynnog bears the only runic inscription in Wales.

The woods around the Usk Reservoir host an off road family cycle route, footpaths and picnic site with fishing available (day ticket machine on site).
