National Nature Reserves

in the Brecon Beacons National Park

National Nature Reserves (NNRs) are areas of the countryside chosen to protect the best examples of Britain's habitats and wildlife. Most are managed by the Countryside Council for Wales (CCW) whilst others are managed in partnership with them.

You are welcome to explore these special areas but please remember to take care not to damage these fragile places.

You can find out where they are within the National Park and more about them by using the left hand navigation menu to access some of the leaflets published by CCW.
