Hay Festivals

Hay Festival is internationally renowned - and is right on our doorstep.

Literary luminaries from across the globe converge each year on the small Welsh mountain town of Hay-on-Wye - sitting right on the border with England - at the end of May and early June.  Not only are there 40 second hand bookshops but the town is home to one of the truely great festivals in the literary calendar.

There is now a full shuttle bus service meeting direct trains from London Paddington, Reading, Oxford and Worcester and whisking you from Hereford to Hay in 40 minutes:
