Hay Festival is internationally renowned - and is right on our doorstep.
Literary luminaries from across the globe converge each year on the small Welsh mountain town of Hay-on-Wye - sitting right on the border with England - at the end of May and early June. Not only are there 40 second hand bookshops but the town is home to one of the truely great festivals in the literary calendar.
The Festival has an ever evolving programme of events - go to their website for more details.
