This lovely church is one of two in the area dedicated to St. Gwendoline, eleventh daughter of Brychan; the other is at Llyswen.
Dating from around the fourteenth century, it is believed to have been built on a former enclosure once used by the earliest inhabitants of Talgarth in the age of the Celtic Saints.
