Usk Reservoir — 51/2miles, 9km

A forested circuit of the Usk Reservoir forms this route. The terrain is mostly hard packed forest roads and a lengthy tarmac section. The start includes a couple of downhills leading you to the water’s edge, and after the dam there is a road climb to get the legs really working and the heart pumping.
