Accounting for Our Work
Accounting for the Work of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority
Our financial year runs from 1st April to 31st March.
We are required by law to produce an annual Statement of Accounts in accordance with proper accounting practices.
The Statement of Accounts for the financial year 2006/2007 was approved by the National Park Authority on 29th June 2007. It is currently "subject to audit".
The Statement of Accounts is audited by the Wales Audit Office. The Audit of the 2006/7 Statement is anticipated by the end of October 2007. On completion of the Audit, the Audit report is published with the Statement of Accounts. We are also required to produce a Statement of Internal Control with the Accounts.
