This morning me and Shelly had our depo induction with Wayne. In the afternoon I went to inspect a wonky bridge with Wyn, and then I went and walked the paths in the waterfalls area as I’ve now been given the Ystradfellte and Hirwaun areas of the Park to look after. Some of the paths in the waterfalls area are suffering serious erosion as the area is very popular with both tourists and outdoor groups. The area needs some serious attention so me and Rex - an estate warden who knows the area well - are going to come down at a later date to draw up a ‘plan of action’ .
