A spokeswoman for Brecon Beacons National Park Authority said:  “Following the publication of the PAROW agenda, late information has been presented to the National Park Authority relating to the Options Report for Gilestone.  For this reason, and upon the legal advice of our QC, the agenda item relating to Gilestone will be deferred.
“It is essential that Members, our speakers and the public are given new or amended reports in a written format in advance of this important meeting.  It would be unreasonable not to allow sufficient time for all parties to consider the new information.  On Tuesday 30th September, Members will be expected to announce the date of an emergency PAROW meeting which we hope will be held within the next two weeks.”
