This year Saturday 4th October marks the 11th anniversary of the Brecon Beacons Food Festival - an annual event showing off local food and suppliers in the landscape where it is produced.

Chief Executive suspended for two months

The Chief Executive of Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) Christopher Gledhill has been suspended for an initial period of up to two months.

Park introduces new planning procedures

As part of the drive to provide a more efficient planning service, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority will be introducing a new national standard planning application – known as 1APP – alongside best practice procedures for validation of all applications.
