Brecon Beacons finalist in £1million Big Green Challenge

The Green Valleys community project in the Brecon Beacons has won a top ten finalist place in the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) £1 million prize ‘Big Green Challenge’ competition.

Prestigious green card for Wales’ only Geopark

Fforest Fawr – Wales’ only European and UNESCO Global Geopark - was awarded a coveted green card by the European Geoparks Network at a meeting held in the Czech Republic last month.

National Park approve first Anaerobic Digester

This week, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority’s Planning Access and Rights of Way (PAROW) committee unanimously approved the Park’s first Anaerobic Digester at Great Porthamel, near Talgarth.
