The hills are alive with the sound of music
- You won’t find any edelweiss at the National Park Visitor Centre this Sunday 6th July but you will hear the soulful voices of soloist Lynne Bryer and the Aberhonddu and District Male Choir echo across the valley in their much awaited ‘Melodies in the mountains’ concert.

- The Chairman of Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Mrs Mary Taylor, and Deputy Chairman Cllr Krishn Pathak have been reappointed for the third year running at the Park’s Annual General Meeting held earlier today.

Popular waterfall reopens
- Forestry Commission Wales and Brecon Beacons National Park Authority announced that Wales’ most popular waterfall, Sgwd-yr-Eira has been reopened to the public in time for the school holidays.

National Parks launch celebratory book at Royal Welsh
- The beauty and importance of National Parks in Wales is celebrated in a new book to be launched by Jane Davidson AM, Minister of Environment, Sustainability and Housing at the Royal Welsh Show on Monday 21st July.

Teddy bears picnic in the Park
- Children and adults in the Brecon Beacons National Park are being invited to bring their teddies to a special Teddies Day out at the National Park Visitor Centre, near Libanus on Sunday 27th July from 12pm to 4pm.

- A group of teenagers from Mid Wales are being given the chance to go wild at a youth adventure camp held in Brecon Beacons National Park later this month.
