In 2012 our work experience week was a great success, so why don't you come and experience working for the National Park in 2013? This is a great opportunity to get outdoors and take part in varied activities, participating in practical and written work with National Park staff and volunteers.
Following another successful year, the Authority's work experience programme for 2013 will take the same format. The Authority will take students (Year 12) where they will follow a specially designed and varied programme (15th to 19th July), allowing them to see many of the aspects of the National Park Authority's work. We will be taking a maximum of 8 students coming from a variety of different schools.
Here is a short video link showing some of the work carried out by students in 2012: National Park Work Experience Pupils
Any students wishing to participate in the full programme please reply to Linda Harley at the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Plas-y-Ffynnon, Cambrian Way, Brecon, Powys, LD3 7HP telling us why you would like to join our work experience programme. Please get in touch as early as possible since we have many requests for work experience each year and the places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. We look forward to hearing from you!
