The Education Team at Brecon Beacons National Park delivers a range of courses for school groups from Foundation level and KS1 to KS2  to A-level and beyond.  Please click on the links on the left to see detailed information about each of the courses.

All our courses are carefully dsigned to support National Curriculum and Curriculum Cymraeg objectives, and those of the National Park.

Courses are run at our three Education Centres: Craig-y-nos Country Park, the National Park Visitor Centre and  YHA Danywenallt Study Centre .  At Craig-y-nos and the Visitor Centre we offer courses lasting between one hour and a full day.

YHA Danywenallt is a residential education centre which can accommodate groups of around 35.  During a stay a programme of half-day activities are led by National Park Education Officers.  To view a presentation about what you can expect during a visit to Danywenallt click here.

We also offer Outreach services including assemblies, inservice training, advice on school grounds projects and a Treasure Chest activity.
