Information on how to book your visit at the Danywenallt National Park Study Centre.
Step 1: Contact Us
We will be happy to discuss your requirements and Centre availability and will make a provisional booking for you. Please phone us on 01874 676677 or email breconbeacons@yha.org.uk. We will then send you a booking form to complete. This will include a kit list, activities selection form and further information.
Step 2: Choose Activities
When you've received your booking form, browse the selection of courses available in the What are the opportunities for schools section and make your selection. Please note the Centre staff organise activities for 2 evenings for a 4 night stay and for 1 evening of a 2 or 3 -night stay. You are welcome to ring to discuss the courses if you would like some more information. The education staff will then fit these activities into a programme for you. Please note some of the activities involve a minibus journey that will incur an extra cost.
Step 3: Return Forms
Once these forms are returned with a deposit your booking is confirmed.
Please note:
· You must ensure a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 10 pupils for the duration of your visit. These adults are entitled to free places. This does not include Centre staff.
· Your staff and adult helpers are responsible for the discipline of the group and pastoral care at all times during your stay.
Step 4: Arrange Transport
Step 5: Health and Safety
We have vast experience in dealing with individuals with special dietary needs and medical conditions. Please let us know as soon as possible of anyone in your group who has any such requirements.
Please read the Health and Safety policies carefully. We will be happy to answer any of your questions.
