Dormouse
The dormouse can be found in woodlands and hedgerows, but it is a secretive animal that may go undetected. It is protected by both UK and European laws.
The dormouse relies on a network of branches to make its way around to collect seed and fruit from trees. Any disturbance to trees and hedgerows may have an impact on dormouse populations.
A Habitat Regulations licence is required for work that may affect dormouse habitat.
