Getting here, getting around

Brecon Beacons National Park has excellent rail and motorway links with the rest of the UK, is linked by regular ferry services to Ireland, and is just an hour away from Cardiff International Airport with flights all over the world.

Beacons Bus

You can have a car-free day in the hills and bring your bike too with the Beacons Bus.  Beacons Bus will start up again on 25th May (Whit Bank Holiday Sunday) and will run until 28th Sept.  There are loads of new features this year and we are using the brand new bus interchange in Brecon - a big improvement on last year.  Beaconsd Bus runs on Sundays and Bank Holidays in the summer months from a variety of places in South Wales and Herefordshire taking you up into the National Park to return that evening.
