Cairns, Standing Stones and Hillforts

The hills of the National Park are dotted with rocks, boulders, bumps and mounds.

It's not always easy to tell which of these are natural formations and which were put there by man for some special purpose, many centuries ago.  You can discover more about these monuments by downloading Field Monuments in the National Park (5.62MB).
