Safety, First Aid & Navigation Courses 2008

The courses below are delivered by Over the Hill on behalf of the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.

The Safety on the Hills day is designed for those who have an interest in learning to navigate safely in the mountain environment, but with little or no previous experience. It can be used as a single day introduction to navigation, or as a step towards achieving the National Navigation Award Scheme’s (NNAS) Bronze award.

The NNAS Bronze Award is designed for those who have an interest in learning to navigate safely in the mountain environment, and who have some previous experience, or who have completed the Safety on the Hills course. This course is accredited by the National Navigation Award Scheme, and is nationally recognized.

July 5 & 6, August 2 & 3,
October 4 & 5, November 1 & 2
This two day emergency first aid course introduces you to managing casualties in remote areas. The course is a balance of learning and practical skills, intermixed with scenarios of real situations. Cost £125.00.
