Craig Cerrig-gleisiad Nature Reserve

Craig Cerrig-gleisiad is a National Nature Reserve close to the A470.

There is a moderate slope to the main part of the reserve. There is a narrow kissing gate with a stone step at the start of the path, which leads to a flight of steps or a path to the right which has a 1:5 gradient. The path is compacted stone with several small water drains crossing the path itself. Once through the gate, the path varies between wide, compacted grass tracks and narrow ruts. How to get there: There is a lay-by by the side of the A470 half way between Merthyr Tydfil and Brecon.

Parking: There is a lay-by next to the entrance.

Toilets: The closest toilets, including disabled access toilets, are at Pont-ar-daf car park near the Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre located on the left hand side of the A470 1km south.
