Information for Tourism Businesses

This section is designed to give information to businesses either running or thinking about running tourism enterprises in or around the National Park.

Each year Brecon Beacons National Park is visited by some 3.8 million people who spend around 4.2 million days and £130 million here.

The many tourism businesses in the National Park and the communities that rely on their income benefit greatly from these visits.  The National Park Authroity works closely with them to ensure that tourism brings as many benefits to the community and environment as possible whilst minimising and managing the impacts those visitors have.

The National Park Authority works to promote enjoyment and to encourage understanding of the area by the public and to intergate this with the conservation of what makes the place special. This includes producing information and interpretation, managing public rights of way and access areas, car parks and toilets and warden service.
