Peter Seaman

Nominated by: National Assembly for Wales - Until 13 April 2008

Peter was in the police force and retired at the rank of Chief Inspector after 31 years service. He was awarded an MBE for his services to the police. He has since worked for Trothwy Housing Association and Powys Challenge (a charity working with young offenders). He is currently Clerk to Talybont-on-Usk Community Council.

Peter is a member of Brecknock Wildlife Trust, National Trust, Campaign for Protection of Rural Wales and the Council for National Parks. He has a Diploma in Management.

Peter’s interests include heritage conservation projects (Brinore Tramroad), community work, working with offenders and young people at risk of offending, environmental and green energy issues, archaeology and trout fishing.
