Martin Weale

Martin is a self employed independent financial advisor, who has a considerable background in local government experience, serving on Hertford Town Council (where he was also Mayor) and East Herts District Council before coming to Brecon, where he is currently also Mayor. His background has given him a broad understanding of issues facing local government today. He has a degree in Government and Politics and an MA in Culture and Society. Martin was elected to Powys County Council in March 2007 and then to the National Park Authority in May 2008.
