Qualifications include a MsC Gender and Social Policy, BA (Honours) and PGCE (University of Wales).
Jacqueline has special interests in equal opportunities and gender issues. She studied farm women for her MSc measuring skills against training needs. Jacqueline is self employed focusing on equal opportunities advice and is also a Non Officer member for the Community on Powys Local Health Board."
Jacqueline is Chairman of the Mental Health Act Hearings for Powys LHB, to assess and decide on patient's release from detention under the Mental Health Act. She also sits on the Audit Committee, Human Resources Committee, and the Complaints Committee.
Jacqueline has been an active member in the Crickhowell and District Forum, establishing links between the community and Powys County Council Community Strategy. She is Secretary (joint) for Crickhowell 21, linking local needs to organisations/groups/people and active on sub-groups dealing with environmental issues.
