Huw Morgan is a farmer. The family is well known throughout the United Kingdom for their top quality winning Limousin cattle and Brecknock Hill Sheep. He was born in the local community, educated in Myddfai Primary School and County High, Llandovery. Since leaving school he has worked on his family farm and moved on to buy his own farm in the 1980s. He has always been totally involved in all aspects of local community. He was instrumental in creating the interest for Llanddeusant Community to buy the local school when it closed. After the purchase he was made chairman of the hall and still holds the post today.
