The National Park Authority

The National Park Authority is made up of all 24 members.  It meets every two months, and has the following functions:

  • Responsible for financial resources and assets, and sets budgets each year.
  • Sets up a committee structure and delegation scheme.
  • Approves policies, strategy and development plans.
  • Makes by-laws.
  • Approves recommendations on the staffing structure.

However it also delegates some decision making to other committees as follows:
