Our Natural World - the Local Biodiversity Action Plan for the Brecon Beacons National Park.

In 1992 the UK government signed the Convention on Biological Diversity, a commitment to identify and take measures to conserve our most threatened wildlife. This commitment led to the development of Local Biodiversity Action Plans (LBAPs) to be delivered by local partnerships of governments, local authorities, wildlife charities, community groups and individuals. Our Natural World is the Biodiversity Action Plan for the Brecon Beacons National Park, one of 24 LBAPs providing full coverage of Wales.

While the LBAP is a partnership project, it is co-ordinated by the BBNPA Biodiversity Officer.
