The Renewable Energy Assistance Programme is open to everyone living in the Brecon Beacons National Park who has an interest in increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and the installation of small scale renewable energy.
Launched in September 2006, the Renewable Energy Assistance Programme (REAP) is a partnership project between the Sustainable Development Fund, The Campaign for the Protection of Rural Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority. Following on from the success of the Brecon Beacons Solar Club (launched in 2001) REAP is open to everyone living in the Brecon Beacons National Park who has an interest in increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and the installation of small scale renewable energy.
The Renewable Energy Assistance Programme can offer direct financial assistance for householders, businesses and community groups in the Brecon Beacons National Park who are interested in certain renewable energy installations. The different levels of assistance are listed in the menu items.
