With a wide range of community events, agricultural shows happening across the area, there's something for everyone to enjoy! This page will be updated on a regular basis.

Farmers Markets
Llangynidr Craft & Farmers Market: 11am - 2pm, last Sunday of each month, in the Village Hall. Stalls are varied and usually include local produce such as meats, bread, vegetables, cheese, honey, wine, cider, perry and local crafts such as beading, scarves, handmade cards and wood turned products. Photoshop and Website Production Tuition - from 0 skills (switching on) to advanced skills with the University of GLamorgan in their outreach bus at The Angel car park every Thursday morning until 12.30pm. Euphoric European Market in Brecon town centre.
Amongst the stalls will be European Food and Drink provided by the ‘Flavours of Europe’- a travelling food market, with a wide range of products, all of excellent quality, including scrumptious German Bratwurst Sausage and delicious French Pancakes ready to go. Appetising Arabian Cakes and Pastries, nutritious nuts from the Mediterranean, spicy Sausages from France, tempting Turkish Delight and tasty tarts of apricot and rhubarb from Brittany, plus a fine range of delicious cheeses from all over France including Altesse from the Vosges, Smoked Brezain from Savoy, Camembert from Normandy, and Le Montcoyal from the Pyrenees.
Alternatively there will be an appetising selection of dried fruits including not only dates, figs and pineapples, but also blueberries, raspberries and cranberries. From the Mediterranean there will be Greek Olives, Feta Cheese, sun-dried Tomatoes and stuffed Vine Leaves, Portuguese Tapas and Spanish Paella.
There will also be a range of specialist products including fine teas form around the world, Polish bread, a superb selection of oils and vinegars and some refreshing fruit ciders.If you’re looking for something special to tickle your palate make sure you come along!
The Westenders, a local theatre group, will also be performing on the streets along with strolling poets, belly dancers and more…. Combined with the opportunity of browsing the galleries and shops of the charming town of Brecon you are a guaranteed a great day out!!

Friday 11: MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
VENUE: National Park Visitor Centre, Libanus at 7pm
The Festival Players Theatre Company returns to the Visitor Centre (Mountain Centre) in this production of Shakespeare’s dark and dazzling comedy. Come along & enjoy a summer’s evening of pastoral pleasures, live music and sheer delight. This is an outdoor production, so please bring your own seating & picnic. The performance will go ahead in all weathers, unless safety is compromised.
