Cantref Riding Centre

Cantref Riding Centre is situated in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales and has been established for over 40 years ago. We offer horse riding for all ages and abilities over 4 years old. You can choose from an introductory 20 minute lesson, a relaxing hour’s ride around the farm, a half days ride or a full days ride up onto the Brecon Beacons National Park taking in the spectacular scenery.

At Cantref Riding Centre our experienced guides make every effort to ensure that our riders are well looked after and cared for from start to finish allowing an enjoyable, stress free day to be had by all.  All riders will be equipped with a riding hat and receive a basic safety demonstration before being introduced to their horse or pony and leaving the yard. 

Our knowledge and experience over the years has led to many return visitors. Cantref Riding Centre welcomes families and groups to come and enjoy horse riding in the Brecon Beacons.

We are licensed and approved by many of the major equine organisations local council, W.T.R.A and A.A.L.A.

Please note our weight limit is 16 stone and that children must be over 4 years old to ride a pony at Cantref Riding Centre.
